    CPR's Stage 2 Package for R35 GTR is aimed at Import and UK GTR Models, where the focus is made on further improving the efficiency of the engine's ability to breath. The standard car relies on mass manufactured restrictive air filters, and massively restrictive Exhaust System.

    N.B. This Package is 100% reversible with no lasting trace of modification, making it ideal for UK Owners who are concerned about voiding their warranty by modifying the car. The reverse process is very straight forward and will take our technicians approx 2 hours to complete (chargeable).

    CPR will remove the factory restrictive panel air filters from the original airboxes, and will replace them with aftermarket sports panel foam filters, with higher air flow capacity, allowing the engine to inhale air easier.

    To compliment the more efficient intake system, CPR will replace the original GTR Front Y-Pipe Section, in which has 1 pair of factory Catalytic Converters. The removal of these massively restrictive Catalytic Converters will unlock a huge amount of performance and response from the turbochargers, which are then allowed to work more freely. The GTR has 2 pairs of Catalytic Converters fitted, where in Stage 1, only the 2nd pair are removed, meaning the car will stay 100% road legal.

    The CPR Front Y-Pipe is of high flow design, with Motorsport derived silencers used instead of the original catalytic converters, which dramatically transforms the exhaust tone, from a standard exhaust system creating a rather too quiet and subtle tone. The new free-flowing addition will deepen the exhaust tone, without causing too much of an increase in overall volume. During testing, the CPR Front Y-Pipe Pipe produced 91-93dB - Static @ 4500 rpm, and 97dB at Close Driveby. The tone of the exhaust is much improved and sportier over standard, but does not in anyway cause too much offence to the ears. In-cabin driving with the new Centre Pipe creates a more enthusiastic and enjoyable experience for the driver. Fitment is excellent, as the Y-Pipes are hand crafted in-house by our master fabricator, constructed in T304 Stainless Steel 1.5mm Wall Thick Material and High quality laser cut flanges.

    The Front Y-Pipe is 75mm on each runner, merging to a handbuilt Collector, ensuring optimum exhaust flow. The Front Y-Pipe Pipe has undergone a great deal of development in achieving the most effective solution to removing the secondary catalytic converters, and the design of the Y-Shape Collector has been critical in the overall performance of this Centre Pipe. Through testing using a telescopic section, the affect on moving this Y-Shape Collector forward and back along the centre pipe would demonstrate a differentiation of hp and torque gain. The most ideal position of the collector, where the most widespread increase in horsepower and torque was achieved, was with the Y-Piece Collector positioned as far toward the rear end of the Centre Pipe as possible. This is understood to be as a result of reducing the amount of time the exhaust gas spends travelling through one single pipe. Greater overall gains are made with the gas being able to flow better through 2 pipes as opposed to 1. Stainless Steel Flexi sections are used, to allow movement in the exhaust, unlike a lot of the Japanese systems on the market, where the one piece exhaust can crack through engine vibrations.

    To further increase the engines ability to breath, CPR will replace your original Cat-Back Exhaust System, with the CPR Sports Exhaust System. This handbuilt Exhaust System is constructed from extremely high quality T304 Grade Stainless Steel in 1.5mm Thick Wall. The System features V-Band style connectors, ensuring precise exhaust seal, and no requirements for gaskets and bolts. CPR build their GTR Systems with quality in mind with zero compromise, so we ensure that sound muffling is optimum, by use of handbuilt high-flow bullet silencers. The Exhaust is 3.5" Bore in the Centre Section, and then splits off into 2 x 3" Bore Banks, ensuring the smoothest and most unrestrictive path is offered for exhaust gas. Each exhaust system is finished with Quad high quality, mirror polished 4.5" Slash Cut Tail Pipes, ensuring quality is pronounced after the system is fitted.

    Our Exhaust systems offer a much improved exhaust tone than stock, where overall noise output is around 95dB at 4,5000 RPM Static, and no more than 99dB at full throttle driveby. A deep, powerful sounding exhaust tone is noted at idle.

    We offer a lifetime warranty against cracking on our Exhaust System Components.

    Please note, at Stage 2, there is no ECU Re-Flashing or Map Alteration, and will rely on the Stock ECU Map, meaning no risk of traces being left on the ECU which MAY be detectable by Nissan. For more gains in performance, please see our Stage 3 Package

    CPR's Stage 3 Package for the Nissan R35 GTR is available for both UK and Import Vehicles, and will begin to make improvements to the Fuel/Ignition/Boost Map Settings, which will be optimised to suit the free flowing exhaust and intakes (as featured in Stage 2). CPR offer the very user friendly handheld controller from Cobb Tuning, known as the 'Access-Port' (Click here to read more about the 'Access-Port)'

    CPR will use the Cobb Tuning Stage 2 Map, after saving your original map to the Access Port, our technicians will flash in the Stage 2 Map, which alters the fuelling and ignition to suit high flow De-Cat Y-Pipes and Cat-Back Exhaust Systems along with Air Filters. Boost is also raised slightly from 0.8bar (standard car) to 1.1bar peak.

    N.B. This package will involve ECU Re-Flashing which may leave to traces on the ECU (even though the original factory map can easily be re-installed), and as a result MAY void any UK Manufacturer Warranty.

    CPR's Stage 4 sees the requirement of re-scaling of the Air Flow Meter Signal, where higher air flow requirements will mean the standard air flow meters will max.out. We will fit CPR Larger Diameter Air Flow Meter Housings, with an Induction Pipe Kit and Cone Type High Flow Air Filter, to support huge air flow intake requirements. The High Flow Air Filters nestled neatly in the Bumper Nose Cone Area, and are well fed by cold air from the Centre Grille Area. CPR will build a Custom Stage 4 Tune Map for your car, and flash this in via the Cobb Tuning Access Port

    Power Gains:

  • Up to 600bhp flywheel at 6,700 RPM (from 480bhp flywheel standard) = around 495whp = +25%
  • Torque Gain: Up to 580lbft at 3,400 RPM (from 450lbft standard) = +28%
  • CPR offer this Custom Mapping service with the use of the Factory Master Cobb Tuning Pro-Tuner Software. All ECU Re-Mapping is carried out in a controlled environment on our Dyno Dynamics 4 Wheel Rolling Road Before and After Dyno Graphs will be supplied to show the gains produced. Please note that this Power Upgrade will involve ECU Re-Flashing, and there MAY be a trace left on the ECU (the original Map can easily be restored into the car), and caution should be taken in consideration of any UK Manufacturer's Warranty.

  • Stage 5 extracts the last levels of performance supplied by the factory turbochargers, by way of fitment of high flowing Turbine Outlet Elbows, allowing smooth exhaust gas flow out of the turbochargers, and removal of the 1st pair of Catalytic Converter, boost pressure can be increased further and sustained throughout a higher RPM, where the turbochargers to work unrestricted to their maximum ability. The exhaust tone is further improved the fitting of these High Flow Elbows. CPR's Stage 5 sees the requirement of the standard fuel system to be upgraded, to support increased boost pressure and we will upgrade the Fuel Injectors, by fitting larger capacity Injector Dynamics 1000cc Fuel Injectors. These will give additional fuel on tap, for our Mapping Technicians to increase the boost pressure.

      Stage 5, the ultimate bolt-on tuning package for the Nissan GT-R sees the upgrade of the factory turbochargers, to CPR 700HP Hybrid Turbocharger Units, modified with Larger Compressor & Turbine Housings, with Special Hybrid Garrett Ball Bearing Centres with Larger Compressor & Turbine Wheels. To support the larger turbochargers and higher boost levels, the fuel system again will need uprating, by way of CPR's Highflow Fuel Pumps, which fit into the original Fuel Pump Carriers. These Fuel Pumps have the capacity to support up to 1000hp levels, with plenty of juice now on tap, CPR will then custom build a Stage 6 Map with our Cobb Tuning Master AccessTuner Software, which we will then flash to your ECU via the Access-Port
