CPR complete BMW M3 E92 Track Car

Another milestone for CPR was the completion of a very special project, a full track conversion of a BMW E92 M3 Coupe for customer Miles Dewhurst. Featuring a full track preparation including full body loom removal, Pectel SQ6 Standalone ECU and modified Engine Loom (from Apex Speed Technology, California), Nitron NTR-Race Track Suspension, AP Racing Front Brake Kit, Full Body Lightening, and Lower/Further back Driver's position and much more.

GTROC R35 GTR Dyno Shoot Out Day - 6th August 2011

CPR are proud to announce that we are due to host a Rolling Road Shootout Day for R35 GTR Owners through the GTROC. The day will take place at 10.00am on Saturday 6th August at 2011. All R35 GTR's are welcome to have their cars power tested, to see who will have the highest HP GTR on the day, where a prize will be given for the highest hp car on the day. We will also be offering 4 Wheel Geometry Sessions throughout the day at a discounted rate, so owners can have their cars set up with our Fast Road Alignment Settings which we have received fantastic feedback from. All dyno work will be carried out on our 2400hp 4WD Dyno Dynamics Rolling Road in a controlled environment. We are the most experienced dyno tuners of the GT-R in the country and your car will be in good hands. All are welcome, R35 GTR's will take priority on our rolling road, where we may have chance later in the day to dyno other vehicles. All previous CPR tuned R35 GTR Customers will have their power runs provided free of charge, where all other runs will be £40.00+VAT per run

Andy Robinson's Evo 8 at Santa Pod with 'Turbo Automagazin Germany'

Andy Robinson and CPR head to Santa Pod along with Tim Schrick, Florian and the crew from 'Turbo-Automagazin' to get some footage of the CPR Drag Evo 8 in action. Hindered with torrential rain at the beginning of the day, the team sat it out until the afternoon, where a brief sunny period and strong headwind dried the track out, whilst a few competitors of the 2011 Japanese Drag Series ran a few practice runs. Andy managed to put a few shakedown passes together, only his second occasion using the car in anger, but was extremely frustrated with the shift of the stock H-pattern box. No matter how hard Andy tried, the box would not let him have a clean shift up the box, hindered by 3rd and 4th gear, with a massive drop off in boost between the gears as the synchro's kept up with the motor. Andy set his new Personal Best of a 10.7 pass at 138mph with a half decent launch, but missing 4th gear. There is ton's still to come from the car, Andy is hoping to replace the H-Pattern box with a Dog-box very shortly, where he is hoping for a clean 1st to 4th gear run. Aside from the poor gearbox performance, the motor ran effortlessly, and with Andy laying down a few warm-up runs, it was left for Tim to have a go himself in front of the camera's. Despite absolutely no drag racing experience, Tim hooked up a good launch and a decent run (although still not being able to cleanly shift all the way through), running a 12s pass. A massive thank you goes to Andy Robinson, Kate and Mike, and also to Tim, Florian and the TV Crew. A massive thank you also to Phil Royle from 'Road Magazine' for organising this special occasion.

Jap Show 2011- Santa Pod - James Draper runs a 11.09s @ 128mph

Congratulations to CPR Customer James Draper who ran his new personal best at Santa Pod this weekend at the Jap Show. James' Evo 9 recently built by CPR produces 630bhp, but an amazing 1600kg with full interior and full tank. James ran a staggering 11.09s 1/4 mile, at 128mph, even with his girlfriend Stef in the passenger seat! An awesome achievement by James in a full weight street car, hoping he cracks the 10 second barrier on his next visit

Tim Schrick & German Top Gear film at CPR

Tim Schrick and the Turbo Automagazin TV crew from Sport 1 (the German equivalent to Top Gear) came to shoot some footage for the upcoming documentary on British Track Days, featuring Andy Robinson's 1100bhp Drag Evo 8 and CPR's Orange Time Attack Evo. The day was spent with various shots of Andy's Evo 8 on the Dyno, setting up Launch Control and preparing the car for taking the car to Santa Pod on Saturday. CPR will be heading over to Donnington Park next week for shooting some footage of our Evo on track. An awesome day was had by all, we think host Tim Schrick is getting pretty nervous in anticipation to driving BOTH cars very soon, even more so in Andy's 1100bhp potentially sub-9sec Drag Monster!

James Draper - 630hp 2.3L Evo 9

CPR complete another extremely fast street Evo 9 for a very good customer; James Draper. James originally purchased the original Twin Turbo Evo 9 Demo Car from us in 2010, and after requesting even more power, but without sacrifice to response, CPR spec'd and built a High Response 2.3L Stroker Motor with Cosworth CNC Race Ported Big Valve Cylinder Head, along with a Precision Ball Bearing Turbo Kit, the car ultimately produced 630hp/525lbft at only 1.8bar. This result is superb, and drives fantastic on the road with full boost at 4,300 RPM, and strong power delivery all the way to the redline without tailing off.

Emma's Evo X - Forged 2.0L Fast Road Setup

CPR complete a 2.0L Forged Drop-In Conversion for Emma Smith's fast road Evo X FQ-360. The strengthened engine will now support Emma's plans to run up to 550bhp, which CPR will be carrying out over the end of the Summer. The CPR-2.0L-4B11 Forged Drop-In Conversion is an industry first, CPR being the first tuner here in the U.K to offer a true Drop-in conversion for the 4B11 using custom designed pistons from CP to use the original piston rings without re-bore/hone.

CPR complete another Evo Circuit Car Conversion

CPR are proud to announce the completion of another track day circuit Evo conversion for Mr Peter Cook. The car boasts full competition specification interior with T45 FIA Cage and body lightening. Power remains at 400bhp for the time being, whilst Peter gets to grips with the new setup which also features backward shifted driving position, Tilton Pedal Box, and a plethora of full competition hardware components.
